We can help with your diving education whether you're an absolute beginner or on your way towards dive specialties and professional levels. At Dive Bequia our instructors can teach the full range of PADI and SSI courses.
All of our courses are conducted using digital learning. This allows you to study in your own time and get a head start by completing the theory in advance of your vacation. If you have any questions, we're here to help, just send an email or call.

Try Diving
Give SCUBA a try. It's easier than you think!
Children as young as 8 years old can try breathing from scuba in the shallow water just off the beach. We have XXS equipment to accommodate the smallest bubble blower.
From 10 years, anyone can take the next step and join an instructor on a shallow dive. After their lesson off the beach divers can enjoy a shallow reef dive with one of our fantastic instructors. You'll get to see octopus, trumpetfish, lobster, arrow crabs and maybe even a seahorse as well as a multitude of reef fish, corals and sponges. Over 500 people give Discover Scuba a try with us every year, why not join them?
Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver
Have you been bitten by the SCUBA bug? Continue your adventure by becoming a Scuba or Open Water Diver!
If you don't have time to complete a four day course the Scuba Diver certification could be just right for you. This course takes two days to complete and gets you halfway to becoming an Open Water Diver. You'll be issued a certification that qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 40 ft/ 12 metres and only with a professional guide. You can upgrade your certification to Open Water Diver at any time in the future, although we do advise sooner is better than later.
The Open Water Diver course is the full entry level course that will qualify you to dive to a maximum depth of 60 feet/ 18 metres. You'll also be able to hire dive equipment if you have the opportunity to dive with a buddy. Our Open Water course is conducted over 3 to 5 days depending on how you choose to complete the theory section of the course. Over the years that we have been teaching we've watched people on vacation struggle to fit reading and studying into their family vacation time but online learning solves that problem! If you have already completed your theory and pool sessions (Referral) we can finish your certification by completing the four open water dives.

Perfect your buoyancy with the Perfect Buoyancy course and take part in our Coral ID course to learn about coral restoration in our nursery.

Dive Specialties
Do you want to explore the deep? Or help make a difference in marine conservation? Or have a passion for discovering nocturnal creatures? Then we have a specialty dive course for you! Dive specialties allow you to explore your chosen dive interest in more detail. Specialty courses may include dives but some offer 'dry' skill learning such as servicing equipment or studying marine life. If your interest extends to becoming a dive pro we can also offer the Stress and Rescue and React Right courses to teach you how to assist a diver in need of help, administer oxygen and give first aid and CPR. |
